I've decided to "blow the dust off" the Supahstah Saturday feature, and will be bringing you a new interview with a fab blogger each week! Great way to find new blogs to read, get tips on making your own blog successful and fun, and to show your support for bloggers everywhere! This week's interviewee is Trista from Anderson's Angels. Trista is a stay-at-home mommy to 2 adorable boys, and a precious little girl! She's been married to her best friend for 6 years, and is looking forward to many more years together!
Q1: Please tell us a little about yourself, your family, your job, and/or your interests when you're not blogging.
A: I am currently a SAHM which is my dream job! My husband works for Nationwide Insurance and is also on their activities committee. We have 3 beautiful children and are hoping to add to our family soon. We have a dog named Daisy who is the sweetest thing ever and a cat named Diego who can be either loving or a pain in the rear. When I am not blogging I love to spend time with my family. We love to spend our time outdoors as much as we can. I also love to cook and bake in my free time my kids are always saying I need to open up a restaurant. lol
Q2: When and how did you start blogging, and how did you decide on your blog name?
A: I started blogging in October of 2010. I was pregnant with my daughter and staying at home with my children. I was also starting to follow a friends’ blog and was slowly getting addicted, so I finally decided that I would take a chance and start my own blog up. I came up with the name for my blog pretty easily, since I see my children as my angels I found it fitting to name my blog Andersons Angels.Q3: Are there any topics/products you are passionate about on your blog? On the same note, are there any topics/products that you try to avoid blogging about?
A: I love writing about cloth diapering and natural/organic products. I love finding new products that are not only good for you but the earth as well. I have not really come across something yet that I would not blog about.
Q4: What do you personally look for in the blogs that you visit? What would keep you from returning to a blog?
A: I look for blogs that seem to have similar interest and values as I do. I love getting to read about family trips and activities. I would keep returning to a blog if I like what I am seeing, reading and oh yes I love entering the awesome giveaways as well.
Q5: Do you have any favorite blogging networks/groups that you visit often?
A: I am just starting to get into the Mom Central group but other than that I just hang out in a couple of groups on facebook.
Q6: Would you share some of your favorite blogging tools, plugins, etc. that you use to make your blogging experience easier?
A: I don’t really have any plugins or tools that I use other then Rafflecopter for giveaways.
Q7: Where do you do your best blogging, and how do you come up with fresh ideas for your topics?
A: I do all my blogging from my living room or bedroom depending on which computer I am using at the time. I seem to do my best blogging when the house is quiet and I can actually focus on what I am doing. When it comes to fresh ideas for topics I just try to new products that I feel fit well with my family and our needs.
Q8: What is the most exciting thing that has happened to you because of your blog?
A: I would have to say the most exciting thing that has happened to me due to my blog was while attending “The Great Latch On” at my local breastfeeding store the owner was talking with others about an article I had posted about breastfeeding and how they should check out my blog.
Q9: Do you have any favorite posts and/or reviews from your blog that you'd like to share?
A: This is one of my favorite posts: Family Memories/Traditions
Q10: What advice you would give to a blogger just starting out?
A: Take your time and pace yourself otherwise you will get burnt out quickly. When I started I got to the point that I had so many things to write up for reviews that I just kept falling farther and farther behind. So be careful not to bite off more than you can chew.
Q11: If you could have anyone, living or dead, write a guest post on your blog, who would you choose and why?
A: Hmm that is a really good question… I guess I would choose my Great Grandma Powell. I would choose her because she was the greatest woman I ever knew and I looked up to her in so many ways. She was a very wise and caring lady. I am sure that she could have written one heck of a wonderful story.
Q12: And lastly…in the next few years, do you see yourself still blogging, and if so, what would you try to improve on or add to your blog routine?
A: I do see myself still blogging in the next few years. I really enjoy blogging and find it fun and entertaining.

awww, loved getting to know Trista better with this interview! I like being able to blog from my bedroom when I’m borrowing my daughter’s laptop. LOL I need my own so I can blog there more often. =)
