These are photos I took this summer (forgot I had them) of a "runaway" hot air balloon that made an emergency landing in the apartment complex down the street from us. The hubby, the kids, and I all jumped in the truck and followed it to see where it would end up.
The people in the balloon were just as surprised as everyone that gathered to watch them land. They drifted from somewhere in Philadelphia into southern New Jersey.
We asked the owners if we could take a photo of the inside before they deflated it. Was really cool! Unfortunately, they didn't take us up on our request to let us fly back with them. lol
That looks so cool! I am not thinking being in a runaway balloon sounds fun in the least bit… lol
lol No.. the runaway part isn’t fun I imagine, but I would’ve loved to have gone up for a ride.

Yeah.. they were so low that we were curious as to what was going on. lol It was fun trailing behind them.
