H&R Block Emerald Advance Program

Ahhh Christmas! My most favorite time of the year! During the month of November, I prepare my list of "to-do's" to help me get ready for the holidays. Here's an example:

  • Have the kiddos write up their Christmas list of items they would love to have and/or need this holiday season.
  • Get out the decorations and prepare to decorate the day after Thanksgiving (our tradition).
  • Plan the menu for our Christmas dinner, write up my shopping list, and purchase what I can ahead of time.
  • Shop on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Grab whatever awesome deals I can find.
  • Purchase all of my holiday cookie / cake / pie ingredients and get into baking mode!
  • Clean the house from top to bottom, get out my scented candles and other holiday fragrance items to create the mood.
  • Apply for an H&R Block Emerald Advance for up to $1,000 to help with all of my holiday expenses.

That last item on the list is an important one! Saving what I can and looking for the best sales and deals throughout the year definitely helps when it comes to making a nice Christmas for our 5 children and 2 grandchildren. This economy is crazy tough, so I look forward to and count on my H&R Block Emerald Advance each year to give me that extra "padding" I need through the holiday season.

I've been a loyal H&R Block customer for over 18 years now. There are a number of reasons that I keep going back to them for my income tax needs. The tax professionals are knowledgeable and familiar with current tax laws, they offer personalized, friendly service and guidance to get the most out of your tax filing experience, and they stand behind and support you with their 100% accuracy guarantee should you ever have to go through an audit.

Applying for an Emerald Advance with H&R Block is easy peasy! Whether you need a little extra cash to purchase your holiday gifts, travel expenses, or to pay a bill or two, they are there to help!

As of Monday, November 19th, you can apply for an Emerald Advance line of credit in any participating H&R Block office, and you can even start the process over the phone by calling toll-free at 855-294-5828.

You could be approved in as little as 15 minutes!!

Oh, and in case you're wondering, you do NOT need to be a current H&R Block client to apply! Nice, huh?! All you need to apply is a valid photo ID and your most recent pay stub (no W-2 form required)!

WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY

* Current earnings statement or pay stub

* Current government-issued photo ID or driver’s license

* H&R Block Emerald Prepaid MasterCard® if you have one

* New clients must also bring a recent bill or bank statement showing their current street address

Once approved, your funds will be transferred to a H&R Block Emerald Card, where you can begin to make your purchases/payments everywhere Debit MasterCard cards are accepted. Use your line of credit for holiday purchases, emergencies, car repairs, or for every day needs. You can learn more about the H&R Block Emerald Advance Line of Credit by visiting their website.

So, to get you thinking about what YOU would do with a Cash Advance, the good people at H&R Block are giving away a $300 Gift Card to one lucky Mother of Pearl It Is reader!! How awesome is that?!
