Have you EVER?! I never. My neighbor brought over this sweet potato today… yes, it's a sweet potato. I've never seen one quite this big before. I put it next to an apple so you can see the actual ginormous size. I've been thinking up all the yummy recipes I can make with just this one huge sweet potato.

WOW. Just WOW! That’s what you get with home grown, don’t have to pick them early, organic fruits and veggies I guess! Awesome! And YUM!
Dang! Two that size would make enough sweet potatoes for my family for holiday dinner! OOO – it would make a real tasty batch of sweet potato fries!! But bake them instead of fry them — much healthier!

I saw a bunch of these in my grocery store last weekend, and I had never seen any that big either. I think they may have even been bigger than the one in your picture! My fiance doesn’t eat sweet potatoes, but I love them. I was hoping to make him a regular baked potato and myself a baked sweet potato, and all they had were those HUGE sweet potatoes. Looks like I’m going to have some leftover! lol

I’m not a fan of sweet potato fries, but if your family likes them it would be fun for a snack.
Sweet potato pound cake is a good recipe.

Mmm! Looks like a big batch of southwest sweetpotato soup to me!
Bake it and use the insides to have mashed sweet potatoes for a side. If you want it sweet, just add brown sugar and cinnamon.
Wow! I don’t eat or cook sweet potatoes so I am clueless…all I know is that would make a full supply of baby food!! LOL Enjoy whatever it is you decide to make!

With a size like that it just screams sweet potato pies. I usually get some big ones in the grocery, but this is really big.

No.. my neighbor’s mom grew it! I couldn’t believe the size. lol
