Giveaway Policies

I prefer to host a combined Review/Giveaway, as I find that it peaks the interest of my readers substantially when they have the chance to win a product that I am reviewing.

Please see the following policies set in place in regards to Giveaways on MOPII:

* Giveaways are done free of charge when combined with a product review. There will be a fee involved for giveaways requested without a product review. Please feel free to email me at Tree(at)motherofpearlitis(dot)com for prices.

* My giveaways run for a two-week period. The winner is selected via Random.org and is contacted via email. They have 48 hours to respond to my email or another winner will be drawn. I will email you with the winner’s shipping info as soon as it is received.

* When contacting me for a giveaway, please include the following in your email:

• The name of the product, the current retail value, and any images that can be used in the giveaway.
• Please note who is eligible to enter (ie: US only, US and Canada only, or Worldwide)
• If you would like any social media sites included as extra entries (Facebook, Twitter, blog, etc.)
• If you would like to offer an exclusive discount to my readers, I will need to have the discount amount and end date. If you would like, you may use MOPII for the promo code.

NOTE: The mandatory entry will usually be to ask the reader to visit your site and comment on their favorite product, color, etc. Facebook, Twitter, and other social media sites will be posted may be used as extra entries into the giveaway at your request. It is against FTC regulations to ask a reader to make a purchase for a bonus entry.

* I am not responsible for shipping the prize to the winner. Please do not mail the prize with the review product unless I asked to have it shipped to me directly to be included in a larger prize package giveaway. Please ship your prize to the giveaway winner within a reasonable amount of time once the giveaway has ended.
